That is just not acceptable, full stop.

First off it should be a new unit as it’s just 1 month old. Does beg the
question like with the lithium battery of a few days ago, when is the warranty
replacement a new unit and at what point in the warranty does it change to a
refurbished one?

2nd this gets back to poor design that the bottom isn’t replaceable without
rebuilding the whole unit.

3 no they don’t care and it’s why I’ve never sold them.

4 a solution would be to have pieces of metal, same thickness, coating etc that
just screw onto the sides, back, bottom. Then repunch the holes where you want
and it looks like new.
I mean how hard is that?

Sorry and good luck

I will say that eg4 has been great with the only inverter they couldn’t
identify the issue they sent out at their expense a new unit and prepaid return
shipping.
