I am a big fan of Krinner.  We use them in a hurricane prone area in the Northeast.  Our projects are much smaller though.  You can buy an adapter for a Bobcat or backhoe to drill them down.  The key to that is keeping them vertical.  Chris

ProSolar referred us to an engineering firm to validate.  The engineers said if we had used the standard concrete footing method we would have had to double the depth to 60", but that ground-screws would work fine.  The engineering report was very affordable.  Contact me if you want a referral.
