Are you using trusted cache? Dunno I'm out of ideas, maybe your prod server is caching some config you run previously. Can you restart your cf instance?

Help please Bummer. Good suggestion João but when I changed the name to reactor it made no difference. The reason it wouldnt change names was something to do with dreamweaver's ftp functionality. When I used ws_ftp it renamed ok . SO that wasnt the problem. Any other ideas? I'm sorry to be a pest, but I"ve been working away at everything i can think of and ran out of ideas.
