I *may* be able to apply more time to this than you can right now - since my group is using Reactor fairly heavily I have an incentive! - but I will only be able to test fixes for MySQL 5 and probably only for areas of the framework that we are using. So I'm not sure I can be the *only* person stepping up for this.
