The bottom line here is that CFMX is the gold standard against which all the frameworks are developed.
I am appealing to NA to recognize that CFMX is the gold standard that all of the frameworks are developed against and therefore to test their new releases against the most popular controller, ORM and DI/ioC frameworks (see the BD interest mailing list). With all of the community push to start using frameworks, it would be sad for NA to have to tell aspiring developers that BD does not support Model-Glue, Mach-II, Fusebox, Transfer, Reactor or ColdSpring. It would be like saying BD is good for a lot of things, but not RAD or enterprise development. If you want to get serious with CFML, you have to buy ColdFusion 7. -Aaron -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Reactor for ColdFusion Mailing List [email protected] Archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/reactor%40doughughes.net/ -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --
