Nope, assuming the DB is the same

It may work when the number of sites is small, or you need a cast-iron 
guaranty it wont interfere.

Yes, you should, it's used for creating a directory and there for class name 
(look at what your project-local 'data' files inherit from).
This means your 'test' site 'data' CFCs will be slightly different. You'll 
have to manage this carefully unless you go with local /reactor's, I think.

We've got a shared /reactor mapping for all the applications, and make sure to 
set different project/dsn settings.
But we don't have multiple copies of the same app on the same server.
