I did some more testing over the weekend that gave me some unexpected
results. I confirmed the results this morning here at work. Based on this
testing I *think* I've put this back in Reactors court. The reason I think
that is that I am not having the performance problem with MSSQL and I am
having the problem on Oracle. My information and my review of the code says
that there is no Oracle specific code in Model Glue. My testing also seems
to indicate we don't have a problem with the data base.

I also did some testing changing the server caching settings in CF
Administrator but they did not affect these results.

Any additional clues about what to look for would be appreciated. Thanks.

Bryan

Here are my results.

Doing an update with Just Reactor (1st means after bouncing the server and
deleting the reactor project folder):

At home on MSSQL (CF local server)
1st 17 seconds
2nd 2 seconds

At work on MSSQL (CF local server)
1st 17 seconds
2nd 1 second

At work on Oracle (CF local server)
1st 25 seconds
2nd 1 second

Doing and update with Model Glue (1st means after bouncing the server and
deleting the reactor project folder):

At home on MSSQL (CF local server)
1st 29 seconds
2nd 3 seconds

At work on MSSQL (CF local server)
1st 26 seconds
2nd 1.5 second

At work on Oracle (CF local server)
1st 47 seconds
2nd 12.5 second <-- THIS IS WHERE MY PROBLEM IS
