If you run it without MG:U and it works fine, then run it with MG:U and something is wrong, it seems to me it has to be something outside of Reactor. I'm actually not willing to put the blame on MG:U either because there are a lot of people using it and I haven't heard of any problems. Unfortunately, I don't have much more I can add because I've used Reactor with MSSQL and Oracle (primarily in Fusebox and Mach-II though) and while it does have some other issues, none of them are related to re-executions of the readFields method that I have ever seen.
For now my advice might be to not use MG:U until you can figure out what is going on. Trying it with another framework might be worthwhile to see what happens. You could also attempt to use MG:U with Transfer just to see if anything odd happens there as well. On 5/14/07, Bryan S <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
I did some more testing over the weekend that gave me some unexpected results. I confirmed the results this morning here at work. Based on this testing I *think* I've put this back in Reactors court. The reason I think that is that I am not having the performance problem with MSSQL and I am having the problem on Oracle. My information and my review of the code says that there is no Oracle specific code in Model Glue. My testing also seems to indicate we don't have a problem with the data base. I also did some testing changing the server caching settings in CF Administrator but they did not affect these results. Any additional clues about what to look for would be appreciated. Thanks.
