Well, I've developed several applications that are highly reviewed and, many of which, are available on retail shelves (from Apple stores to CompUSA's).
DiscBlaze(aka, MacBurn), Footlights, Formation... all commercial, high-quality apps written in RB. (*cough* and available for purchase from www.radicalbreeze.com *cough*)
And there's many others that I know have been (or are currently) available in the retail space... or are just plain fantastic and of an incredible quality whether available online or in retail: MediaEdit Pro (miensoftware.com) and Media Collector (intelliscanner.com) both pop to mind.
So... yes. Regardless of what your definition of "quality" and "commercial" are, there are applications that will meet that standard that have been (and are being) developed in REALbasic.
