No, but look at Ruby on Rails.

RoR is quite fresh but already really popular. And this is because there
are good solutions based on RoR, there are many articles written about
RoR and there is really some kind of innovation inside of RoR.

Even if you don't use it yourself, it is well worth to know the concepts
and ideas behind the system.
