RB doesn't create the open dialog, Apple (or other OS vendor) does.
Yes, I understand (You always have an good answer) ...
But in fact this is not my problem? Then RS have to fix it using
Carbon, Cocoa or whatever...
I would think it's useful to you to know when you should be
requesting something from RS, and when you should be requesting it
from Apple. Otherwise, you can waste a lot of your time barking up
the wrong tree. In addition, when you bark up the wrong tree, you
waste other people's time -- time that could have been spent fixing
things that are actually fixable.
I don't found this by my self, and I don't care about it... but I
get some bug-reports from my users...
And what should I answer??
Tell them that it's a function of the OS, and give them another
example -- such as, in the Finder, go to Edit > Special Characters,
where there is a splitter that also doesn't change the mouse cursor.
Then tell them you're very glad that they're enjoying your software,
and the worst defect they can find is such a minor one.
The other bug that I show on my link is more 'critical' ..... (Listbox)
Yes, you should consider reporting that one.
Best,
- Joe
