Rats -- I just found out that Aaron doesn't read these message lists
anymore; he only follows the forum instead. I was afraid this would
happen -- the community has split, and now there are two different
places to go to get a decent chance of an answer.
Sigh... I wonder if filing a feature request to kill the forums would
help? Probably not. Anybody want to join me in campaigning about
this at REAL World?
As I understand it, the participation of RS engineers on these lists is
somewhat at their discretion; I assume that it's not an acceptable
alternative to meeting deadlines. If having a web forum available
means that Aaron will spend more time participating, then perhaps it's
better for the Rb community that the forum exist, though I don't really
like them either.
