From a marketing point of view, it would be a widely used app that's hands-on proof RB delivers the power and capability to create web services applications. The web interface is definitely for when one would want to access the forum/list when the app is not available locally on your computer.

You might wish to review punBB, e.g.

I've started to build an XML interface for punBB, which would
then be retrieved through an RB app. The idea is to download
new forum articles and read them offline.

But I really don't know, if this will ever get finished. I wonder,
if anybody would pay for it.

The app includes a small advertisement area, just like Acrobat Reader,
too.
