Sound like you and I have a lot in common. 14 years in the printing industry, and started programming two years ago. =)
I know RB doesn't have the installed base of anything like XCode or VB, but if enough people were interested, it might be feasible.
Still 100,000 is not too shabby. The audiences could start out small (say 20 people in the audience for a particular primary topic), and grow as the interest grows. I especially like the idea of having a European summit.
