We really like this idea of a good training for 3 or 4 days.
The costs of such a training is the only real issue.
Europe is cheaper because in most cases we can go by train. But
ofcourse the US is fine as long as it locates on the east cost (near
NY).
We are coding in RB for 3 years now and if it will give us more
skills in OO programming with RB we try to come with 2 persons.
Ofcourse we have to check this with our CEO!

But, so far only about two people have expressed any serious
interest. That's not enough to support a weekend training at all,
rendering the location rather moot. We should probably table this

bucks to fly somewhere for a weekend and get in-depth coaching on
the following topics..."
There is serious interest, for me at least, but there are a lot of
issues that would need to be worked out.
I am trying to work full time with REALbasic (and some graphic
design jobs) but the money is slowing coming in.
So for me money is an issue, and if I had the money I would have
gone to REAL World this year. The "problem" with REAL World is not
the cost of the conference, but the cost of the airfare and hotel
which brings the total cost over $1500. A cabin in the woods is an
excellent idea because it would significantly lower the cost for
lodging.
I don't think that this issue should be dropped...
What I think is that there should be 2 or 3 individuals that are
willing to sponsor/manage a training seminar to start researching
the costs involved in putting something on. We would need
something with lodging for 3 nights for 12-16 people, a large room
for meetings, hopefully internet access, and something worked out
for meals (continental breakfast, catered lunch, and dinner on your
own). It would also be best if the location picked is somewhere
close to a major airport hub and yet the cost for lodging would not
be excessive... like perhaps Denver in August?
