RB2006 as MIDI Controller

If anyone has managed to get RB 2006 Macintosh to function as a MIDI  
"controller", I'd like to hear from you off list.

I'm toying with an idea of controlling a Behringer LX1200 via MIDI  
but have a few of specific questions.
