Bonjour,
I have run RealCADD on my PowerBook G4 1.67 GHz with 1 GB of Ram and
on a MacIntel Mini Core Solo with 1 GB of Ram.
Scrolling a big drawing neads 2x more times on the MacIntel Mini than
on my PowerBook.
Cordialement.

I have a client now becoming a bit concerned about Universal
Binaries and at least being able to assure reasonable performance
(of a graphically intensive app) on Rosetta.
I have done some informal MacBook testing and the app seemed
comparable to my 12" 1.5GHz G4 PowerBook.
The MacTech Office benchmark results, FYI, seem to bear this out

I think I've read a few times that the REALbasic IDE is reasonable
on Rosetta, has anyone got any other drawing intensive code? I'm
specifically interested in things like rendering text at varying
sizes, zooming pictures and Object2D-based rendering.
I have advised this client that UB build should be available later
this year and commented that Adobe and a few other big players have
yet to put out their Universal bits, being cited as a source to
confirm it's not as easy as Steve says.
thanks
Andy
