Thanks to all who replied about 5.5.5 vs RB2006r2. I have a better understanding as to why some now stick to 5.5.5. So, my next question is...
I'm nearly finished writing a cross-platform toolbar class for my app, which I was thinking of releasing for others to use and it was coded in RB2006r2. Should I download 5.5.5 and "fix" it so the classes work in 5.5.5 as well as RB2006r2 (probably the main problems would be default property values?) or just say on the download that it requires RB2006r2 or greater? Or of course, not release it at all as there are already a number of toolbar classes available! :) Thanks again for all your input. All the best, Mark. _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
