Just wondering - is it possible to run Linux compiled apps

RB's Linux binaries are X86 based. So they won't run on your iBook, for a variety of reasons but most fundamentally the binary instruction set isn't compatible with your processor.

If you had an Intel based Mac, you could run Linux in a virtual machine supplied by Parallels and you could remote debug from the OSX side of your Mac to the Linux side on the same machine.

I use Parallels to run Windows XP on my Intel based MacBook Pro, and RB's Remote Debugging works great between the two worlds.
