You should write a new EditField for RB that uses NSTextField
underneath. That way it will be 100% OS X compliant. And while your at
it, get this text field working on Windows, Linux and OS 9 too.

No I shouldn't.
Besides, I haven't found problems with RB's editfield on Windows or
Linux.
