I don't think that's possible in this case. You couldn't buy R1
before it came out; and when you bought it, it came with a year of
upgrades, which easily includes R1 (and R3 I believe). Or at
least, that's my understanding.
That is possible. My own plan was ending some week before RB2006r2
was released, so I have to get a new upgrade plan to get 2006r2...
(and now i have a 12 months to 1/11/07)
