What am I doing wrong???

RectShape is a subclass of Object2D and inherits its *X* and *Y* positions from Object2d. e.g. X: From the LR: Horizontal position of center or main
anchor point.

try this.

  g2d.X = g.Width \ 2
  g2d.y = g.Height \ 2

The two lines above can be deleted, I believe.

Best,

Jack

  r = new RectShape
  r.width = 100
  r.height = 100
  r.X = (g.Width \ 2) - 50
  r.Y = g.Height \ 2
  r.fillcolor= RGB(0,0,255)
  g2d.Append r

  r = new RectShape
  r.width = 100
  r.height = 100
  r.X = (g.Width \ 2) + 50
  r.Y = g.Height \ 2
  r.fillcolor= RGB(255,0,255)
  g2d.Append r

  g.drawobject g2d, 0, 0
