It's true that they may not drop C++, Java,etc...
but the ease of use of RB and RAP tool will allow them
to quickly prototypes or eventually turn prototypes
into real applications.
I really see RB to be the answer to Linux's developers
for important accounting app like Windows/Mac
equivalent, such as Quickbook, especially MySQL based
app.
I like RB a lot more than VB, and M$ is not doing
anything for Mac & Linux.  VB is used for so many
corporations to develop internal customized apps.
I think RB will do the same, but better.
