Every Mac keyboard I've ever used, the key above return is "Delete" which deletes before the insertion point, and the one to the right is "Forward Delete" which deletes after the insertion point. I've never seen a Mac keyboard labeled "Backspace", even on a PowerBook.


What you call Backspace (delete the character on the right of the cursor) is present on "Extended" Keyboards and with the use of the fn key on recent (some years) PowerBooks.

The key which delete the character on the right of the cursor IS the delete key. This delete key is, indeed, not present on any keyboard. The one which is always there, below the F-Keys and above the enter key is, from one of all its names, also named "Backsapce", I'm sure.

I'm wondering why you absolutely want to not trust me...
