"Backspace" was the name this key had when I used Mac OS 9. It's =20
certainly a programming name. (also, you can note that someone else, =20
in this thread, also used that name).
I never said the the "Backspace" was labelled so, it's just one of =20
its names.
Le 25 juil. 06 =E0 14:07 Soir, Thom McGrath a =E9crit:
Every Mac keyboard I've ever used, the key above return is "Delete" =20=
which deletes before the insertion point, and the one to the right =20
is "Forward Delete" which deletes after the insertion point. I've =20
never seen a Mac keyboard labeled "Backspace", even on a PowerBook.
Sorry, but on Mac OS 6 (1986) the name of the key was "Delete" / on
Apple //c (and Apple IIe - I never buy one, but I saw some -) the name
of the key was also "Delete" (1984/1985).
That is from memory, a search on Apple documentation will certainly send
that back to the Apple I (but you have to make an intensive search to
get one !).
No, this happens to me sometimes, I think you had a swap between the two
words in memory...
Cheers,
Emile
