Hi All RB programmers...
I am currently faced with a problem of how to display the waveform of a an audio sound in a canvas control. If it is possible, can anyone provide me with an example project or code on how to achieve this. The following information is what I have available in my program:
- number of samples in the sound in PCM
- frequency or sample rate of the sound
- the number of bits
- the number of bytes
- sound duration in milliseconds
My project revolves around the FMOD wrapper class provided by Frank Condello. I am a novice programmer new to RB, but i have learned alot through developing this project, as I was always interested in audio programs. I have seen example projects in VB that have achieved audio waveform display in realtime or on-the-fly, but try to convert this to RB has proved cumbresome and virtually impossible for me.
Please can anyone help me with an example code or project on how to achieve this, as I am sure that there are other RB programmers out there that are just as interested. My e-mail address is [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Thanking you in advance: PeterLG
