I am also unable to reproduce on the Windows side. On the Mac, I can reproduce the behavior, but it seems entirely consistent with the way other Mac OS X apps behave - I tried Safari, Mail, and iTunes. (Though I see that you find Safari doing something different.)

When activated, all of these apps restore ONE minimized window IF (and only if) ALL windows are minimized. That seems to be exactly what the RB IDE is doing, isn't it. The rule seems to be that an activated app will always have at least one non-minimized window.

Hi Peter,

It is some confused I think, if I understand you, it looks not to be the same behavior on my Mac than yours.

If we ONLY discuss the Mac RB IDE problem that I have, if I collapse the main window, I do that because I want to click on a TextEdit File on my desktop, when i click on that file, RB Main window is jumping to the front. Is this normal, as I see there is no other app that do like that? (This could not be normal)
-------------------------

Test in other Mac apps (just close the last window):
And I just tested with Mail app, I minimize this i just is written, and close the other one, and my screen was clean from apps, the minimized do not jump to the front.
-------------------------
In Safari I open 5 windows an minimize one window, then I close the four windows, and there is still one minimized, so my screen is clear from Safari windows, the same works with TextEdit. (just checked again)

About the Window bug report... I don't know, I use only Mac, but i understand that is similar problems..
