It seems to me from a strictly business standpoint, the more code RB can get users to write in RB, the more said users will be tied to the success of their product. I think they're starting to get close to a speed parity with C with the addition of ptrs, the only thing holding us back now is the compiler's lack of optimizations.
no one argued apple shouldn't make interface builder because C is supposed to be fast with crappy UI tools, i dont think we need to place artificial constricts on RB either.
