It sounds like you might have a control on your window that doesn't support Intel yet. Is this the case? If so, we should be giving a *much* better error message, and please file a report about it so that we don't forget.

Do we have a list, which defines, what is supported?

Final remarks:

- Graphics and string processing of the compiled intel binary are
  very fast

- A complex screen with a panel and several embedded controls don't update
  properly on first opening the window.
  Once I resize the window, everything seems to be fine.
The specific control which doesn't update is a canvas subclass, which uses
  2d graphics to draw charts.
