The .NET is pissing off the non programmers who barely were able to learn the basics of VB 6, those are not willing to spend time learning something different.

With that said then I cannot praise the .NET enough. It is just amazing piece of engineering.

That does not mean that REALbasic is not good, it is just in my mind not comparable. The aim is very different with REALbasic.
