I think (wrongly?) that rtf is such a widespread text based doc format
that I thought it should be available within RB.
In fact I want to use RTF to mimic an app we have developped with FMP. I
use documents in RTF with special patterns. These are replaced by the
datas in FMP and printed with Word, OOo etc...
I thought I could let the user write and print those within my app using
RB. I'll stay with the old method finally.

Yes I would like that too. I think you can do it on one platform but not
the others at present but since I would like my application to operate
the same on both platforms I do not use it.
