REAL should just incorporate the Formatted Text Control from True
North and then get add an ODF Reader/Writer and RTF reader/writer
RS is more than welcome to come and make an offer on the software.

feature for them to use as a selling point.

It seems there are always a number of "I want to build a text editor"
kinds of projects that people new to RB want to d.
A common answer is that the editfield is not really up to the task so
you have to write your own editfield replacement.
These people are then quickly disappointed whether they bought the
Standard or Pro versions.
So far the FTC seems an outstanding effort to make a replacement that
is very functional.
