I think Joe was a tremendous help to, esp new people. For those, who
are established programmers, the lack of someone like Joe, may not be
so much of a problem.
But, in this "stroutless" era, I think that this lack of help to
newbies may become an issue.

We aren't getting into the flaming discussions (:-)(:-(.
But the current volume works for me: I answer people's questions when
it makes sense to and I post the ones that I have (and get answers,
thanks to all).
