You can't really lose a table with the sqlite engine, there are rare
occasions where you can corrupt the database but it is nearly
impossible to just lose a single table.
I am sorry to said you but I am 99% sure that the issue is in your
code...
Give me more details if you want an help.

1) Create and manage the database from code. The DB editor in
the IDE can be very quirky. Most of problems went away when I
gave up on the IDE editor and wrote my own.
2) I do not use any of the db controls or objects in the IDE.
Easier to write and control your own classes that retrieve and
set data.
