RB plugins in RB seems nice but if you can make it in in RB then
why not just make a module/class and use it ?
Because, from what I can tell, plugin-based controls get a nice
icon; user created classes do not.
a nice icon is really not that important to me :)
Of course, I don't mean just the little icon you see in the
toolbar window, but the one you get when you drag a control of that
type onto a window (i.e. the control's visual representation that
you can move, resize, etc...)
I realize that and it's still not valuable on that basis
IF RB could create libraries usable by other tools (photoshop, etc)
then it could probably also generate plugins for RB
That has more usefulness in general but is probably significantly
more difficult
