Wow, track that one down first.  It's a clear indication that your code
isn't doing what you think it's doing.  Just set "Break on Exception,"
and when this happens, pop up the stack.  (It will take a while to
build the popup menu containing hundreds of entries -- just be patient.)

I don't know.  You should never count on the indexes; much better to go
by the port name.
