Wow, track that one down first. It's a clear indication that your code isn't doing what you think it's doing. Just set "Break on Exception,"
and when this happens, pop up the stack.  (It will take a while to
build the popup menu containing hundreds of entries -- just be patient.)

All I have in the test serial.datareceived event is:
string1=string1 + me.readall

Are you sure this is what you want to happen.  This could result in:

Li
LiListen
LiListenListen to t
LiListenListen to the seq
...

After LOTS of read's, this could definitely be the culprit in a stack overflow ...

Or, are you resetting the String1 between reads?
