WOW! - I am wrong! - RS must have changed something - I seem to remember trying to set a reference byRef from inside a method way back in 5.5.5 and it didn't work. In fact I seem to remember it crashing. Ive just tried it again and it DOES work as intended!. This actually lessens the need for the FR I proposed, as it was precisely because I though you couldn't set reference ByRef from inside a method that caused me to request the FR!.
Ok - all you RB purists can stand at ease :) On 26/1/07 12:52, "Daniel Stenning" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Nope. you cannot pass object references BYRef - in other words you cannot > set a passed reference INSIDE a method.
