Oh no. I explicitly wrote to Geoff personally before buying RB 5.0
pro (my first RB purchase) to know if that would be included in the
price and he confirmed. RS had only started work on that CVS-like
thing that was never finished and which name I don't even remember.
(RS' policy of no longer promising stuff was instituded only later.)
My original message wasn't really a complaint that it never
materialized, just an indication that this kind of stuff just
happens, and will again, even with the 'no promise' policy.
As far as Swordfish is concerned, you can hardly say it was never
promised either after a session was dedicated to it at REALworld,
even if the exact word 'promise' may perhaps never have been used.
It'd be like Apple never bringing the iPhone to market now after
Macworld and say Steve never used the word 'promise'.
