So I notice that checking for errors on a module level is broken in RB2007r1.
Fortunately checking on a project level works, and I happened to be working on a small project lately so that's OK. But soon I'm going back to the huge program, and I'm GONNA WANT IT! This was my one panacea to save me time, instead of waiting for the RB-crawl compiles for big projects. So now it's broken. Sigh... Why does RB seems to release versions that have incredible showstopper bugs, and seem to wait item 3 months for a new build? Seems that any release that has showstoppers on it should be fixed immediately as a maintenance update (with no new features). Why isn't this the case? RB should be a mature product, and it is, but all these deathtraps make me uncomfortable. I have been waiting for 3-4 maybe 5 years for RB to even address the problem of slow compile times. The checking for errors was one thing - thank you very much. But other then that, I rarely ever see it mentioned as important. RB would be so much more valuable if it would start up a project debug session faster. Isn't this important to people, and if so why wasn't RealSoftware really put it up as a important issue they are addressing? * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * | Garth Hjelte | | Customer Service Representative, President | | Chicken Systems, Inc, Rubber Chicken Software Co. | | 714 5th Street SE | | Willmar, MN 56201 USA | | | | 800-8-PRO-EPS Toll Free Order Line (US Only) | | 320-235-9798 Tech Support, Sampler Questions | | International Line | | 360-838-7689 Fax | | Product Sales: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | Product Support: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | Sampler Q+A: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | Web Page: www.chickensys.com | * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
