I think its probably a fair assumption that most of us RB developers are NOT
writing apps for use by other developers. If it were otherwise, then maybe
RS would have included just such a widget.

Who knows, if someone asks nicely, maybe RS will release the internal source
they used for the RB code editor ;)   It might serve as a very useful
teaching tool to illustrate how to program for the canvas.
