I recently met (physically) with an RS developer, and was greatly
encouraged by what I saw/heard:

a. The developers are now using 2007r2 to develop 2007r3 (yes, I
actually saw the 2007r2 IDE compiled and debugged on 2007r2). There's
(almost) no one less tolerant of bugs than a developer of the product
who is using it on a daily basis.

b. The RS developers are aware of the QA problems and are giving
priority to resolving them.

c. Using the 2007r2 IDE debugging the 2007r2 code (or possibly
2007r3a0), the developer was able to locate the cause of my biggest
current gripe (big delays and slowdowns with large/complex class
editing) within 30 seconds. I was impressed.

d. I was only recently able to move from V5.5.5 for my main project,
but I must say that 2007r2 is the best release since 5.5.5 - by far
(IMHO). It's not perfect, but is quite usable (with some care).

I, for one, now have a much more positive view of the future of RB.
