This is not correct! Just take a look to the NUG archives and see if there was any "long opinionated thread such as this one" when 2005r4 and 2007r1 were released. You will not find one - I didn't. Those releases didn't introduce any showstopper bugs as this one introduced on both Mac and Windows versions. So, it's natural, and *positive*, to see people reporting the problems, asking questions, give their opinions, rant and so on - it means they are still using RB ;-) So the pattern is: When a new RB release introduces very nasty bugs that affects many users, it's for sure there will be long opinionated threads like this one (here and on the forums).
