I saw a previous posting to this list with the same problem.
but there was no solution to the problem

so i will display a detailed explaination of the problem here:
i took an rp file from the house demo, removed all images except one and
renamed the image name so now it looks like this:

In the same directory of the above file i put sv.gif (gif 87 format
120x120
picture).
in the authoring kit dir of real pix broadcasting i ran the exlivpix.exe
with the following syntax :

the name of the computer is eran.
l/p eran/eran.
broadcasting port 4040.
i used similar settings for real text broadcast server and it worked
fine.
PLEASE HELP !
p.s. there is a multimedia show currently running in 'can' in France
called
MIDEM.
the product we developed using real player 7 is going to be
shown
there (unfortunatly without picture changing support because of the
above),
i have been told
that if we won't find a solution for changing pictures on the
server side (triggered by external events) then we should look for
suitable
solutions in the MS product MediaPlayer + asf/wma file format.
If
there exists any realnetworks product a little more serious than these 2
command line files
(exlivpix.exe and exlvtxt2.exe) i would be very happey to hear
about it.
