It is not an exact method but about as close as you can get to what you
are trying to do. In the RealPlayer, you can set bandwidth settings,
"View", "Preferences", new window, "Connection", "Normal bandwidth" and
"Maximum bandwidth". But, personally I have mixed success with this. I
find it seems to be ignored if it is a local file, local to the player or
the player is local to the server, which would make sense because it is the
Server which should control the presentation based on "rules" and reported
network conditions. But usually I find it works across a network with the
server and player running on separate boxes.
