1) granting access for outside people, to a sim running on you local land is
extreamly dificult, depending you your hardwhare it may not be possible
(thats the problem i have)
2) to become owner of the land , in the region folder you will find region
definition files, in then you will find
master_avatar_first="Test" master_avatar_last="User"
master_avatar_pass="test"
change these to the name you use , and you will be the owner
if you want to run more than one region , copy the region file (to a file
with a different name e.g. region2.xml) and change the following
Config sim_UUID="337b6cc6-8cca-489e-a1d0-0b03dbe29c5a"
sim_name="OpenSim Test"
sim_location_x="1000"
sim_location_y="1000"
lastmap_uuid="fb499b1d-0d73-433f-8e93-aff7c69ed544"
internal_ip_port="9000"
for the UUID's change them to another number (they are randomly generated ,
but need to be different) so change a few of the numbers
I like encoding the location and port into the number
e.g.
337b6cc6-1000-1000-9000-0b03dbe29c5a
337b6cc6-1001-1000-9001-0b03dbe29c5a
337b6cc6-1000-0999-9002-0b03dbe29c5a
337b6cc6-1001-0999-9003-0b03dbe29c5a
lastmap_uuid may change on its own but i would recomend changing it to be
sure
Just a note, I found changing allow_alternate_ports="false" to true
helps with connecting
