Hi, I am using vista 64 bit and for some reason the avatar generator does not work if I launch it from the viewer. However, it is possible to run it as a standalone, and there I can select "directX" as the rendering mode and with that the stand-alone version works fine.
My experience is that with modrex, relogin is currently needed to see the changes of your avatar.
