Peanut Brittle 
Ingredients 
2 cups raw peanuts2 cups sugar2 cups white Karo syrup1/4 tsp. salt1 tbs.
soda2 tsp. margarine 
Preparation 
Grease a cookie sheet with 2 tsp. margarine.  Combine peanuts, syrup,
sugar, & salt  in a heavy saucepan.  Bring to a rolling boil. Cook
until golden brown & peanuts pop, or 285° on candy thermometer. 
Stir in soda & mix quickly. Pour onto prepared cookie sheet.  Let cool
& break into pieces. Keeps well if stored in an airtight container.
