Pumpkin Biscuits 2-1/2 c. all-purpose flour 3 tbsp packed brown sugar 1 tbsp baking powder ½ tsp salt ¼ tsp grount nutmeg ¼ tsp ground cinnamon ¼ tsp ground ginger ½ c. butter, sliced 2 c. pumpkin puree
Preheat oven to dg400. Grease large cookie sheet. Sift together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger. Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in pumpkin and mix to form soft dough. On lightly floured surface, pat dough out to ½-inch thickness. Cut out 36 biscuits with round, 2-inch cutter. Place biscuits onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes. Serve warm. Happy Baking!
