Ancho Chile Barbecue Sauce

Look beyond the long ingredient list; there are just two little steps and ten 
minutes' prep in a finger lickin' homemade sauce.

tablespoon olive oil

cup chopped onions

garlic cloves, minced

cups chili sauce

cup apple juice

cup Worcestershire sauce

cup cider vinegar

(8-oz.) can tomato sauce

dried ancho chiles, seeded, chopped

teaspoon cumin

1

teaspoon dry mustard

teaspoon salt

Heat oil in medium saucepan over medium-high heat until hot. Add onions and 
garlic; cook and stir 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender.

Add all remaining ingredients; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; 
simmer 1 hour or until sauce is of desired consistency, stirring occasionally.

Serve sauce with pork ribs or chicken.
